My hyper focuses, or interests, tend to go in three week spurts. This doesn’t mean I never care about that hyper focus again, but that the burning desire has more than likely fizzled out. It would be nearly impossible to list every interest or hyper focus I have had in my many years of living with ADHD. On this page I hope to build an ever-growing-list of my interests. Over time they will start to link to sections with information about that hyper focus.
This list may start small, and in random order, but I believe it will grow to be something really impressive over time.
What is Hyper Focus?
One of the most common symptoms of ADHD is hyper focus, which refers to an intense focus on a particular activity or interest that can last for several weeks. This type of focus can be beneficial in some situations, as it allows individuals with ADHD to become highly engaged in activities they enjoy and make progress quickly. However, this intense focus can also cause problems if it interferes with other aspects of life or if it becomes difficult to switch tasks or interests when needed. In this article, we will explore how hyper focus works in people with ADHD and how it affects their daily lives.
